Summer Art Program

I got choosen to go to a Portfolio Plus Art Program at Washington University in St. Louis.

It would be a blast! But it is for a WHOLE month, and is alot of money.

We would be doing things like Drawing, Designing, Digital Photography, FIGURE DRAWING, painting, and sculpturing.

I wanna go. But to be honest I am a little scared.

Life will always throw unexpected curves.

It is just up to you to decide what to do with them.

I am so ready for this weekend... Why? becasue

-sleeping in

-being with my baby sister i miss her... ALOT

-being with my parents

(tonight i just layed with my dad for half hour and i loved every minut of it)

-not having to go to school

and mostly because it is one more week closer to Christmas!

Saint Rose of Lima

Last night I had a NET Retreat at our Church.

One thing really clung to me....

This saint, was who they said was one of the most beautiful people on earth,

that she always had a GLOW to her.

She was afraid that the temptation of her beuty would get in the way of her love with God.

So, she cut her face up, so no one thought she was no longer beautiful.

Ever time she cut her face she would say, "Lord, increase my suffering, and with that

increase your Love in my Heart."

And a man who wanted her to marry him, beat her to dealth.

And people say that when she took her last breathe, her face went back to its

perfect place, with no more scars or cuts.

So evertime you have a temptation or a distraction, pray to Saint Rose to help you.

Pumpkin Patch
